Community Writing Center @ Coralville Public Library

Need help writing a letter or e-mail?  Struggling with the right wording for your job application?  Need a sounding board for your creative writing piece?  If you need help with one of these or any other kind of writing come to our Community Writing Center. No appointment necessary.

The Community Writing Center will be available weekly on Tuesdays between 2 and 4 pm in study room 6.  It is staffed by tutors from the University of Iowa’s Writing Center.

Can’t make it to the Coralville Library?  The Community Writing Center is also available at the Iowa City Public Library. Check the Iowa City Public Library calendar for exact dates and times.

Game Day for Adults & Teens @ Coralville Public Library

Cabin fever? Join us for a Game Day for Adults & Teens at the Library.  Stay the day, or drop in for an hour of gaming.  Play a game from Mindbridge’s Game Library, we’ll have different games each Game Day, or bring your own.  All are welcome!

Game Days will be held in the lower level meeting rooms the first Saturday of January, February, and March.

Black History Month Kick Off! @ Cedar Rapids Downtown Library

February is Black History Month. We’ll look through the lenses of history, literature, music and art to both remember and celebrate Black History and achievement.
