In honor of Women’s History Month, Brucemore will debut In Her Steps: A Women’s History Tour. Inspired by the women who shaped Brucemore and Cedar Rapids, this tour takes a closer look at their lives. These remarkable women had an impact not only on the historic estate, but within the community. From poets to landscape architects, nurses to authors, sculptors to cooks, and the museum’s Founding Director, the women of Brucemore led diverse lives shaped by their passions, interests, and circumstances. This special-themed tour will uncover their stories and take a deeper look at this history. The tour will be held on March 12 and April 2 at 5:30 p.m. Admission is $15 per adult. Students and Brucemore members receive a discount. Space is limited; tickets can be purchased online at or by telephone at (319) 362-7375. Brucemore’s spring specialty tours are sponsored by Hills Bank.
