The Cedar Rapids Freedom Festival is pleased to announce Chuck Long as the Keynote Speaker for the Tribute to Heroes Dinner!
Chuck Long’s name has been synonymous with University of Iowa football for over thirty years. As a former player and coach, his combination of charm, charisma and a winning attitude has motivated hundreds of young athletes and influenced multitudes of fans across the state of Iowa and beyond.
Chuck is currently the CEO/Executive Director of the Iowa Sports Foundation, an analyst for the Big Ten Network, and the offensive coordinator & quarterbacks’ coach for the XFL St. Louis BattleHawks.
The Tribute to Heroes Dinner will be held on Thursday, June 18th, 2020, at the Kirkwood Hotel—located at 7725 Kirkwood Blvd SW, Cedar Rapids. Cocktail hour and silent auction opens at 6 PM with the program beginning at 7 PM.
This dinner provides a showcase in honor of Cedar Rapids community heroes—Hero Nominations are currently open (https://www.freedomfestival.com/events/tribute-to-heroes-dinner/nominate/) The Freedom Festival continues to recognize those who are currently serving on active, Reserve, or National Guard duty at home or abroad; our Veterans; and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
Tickets are $45 per person or $400 for a table of 10, table sponsorships are also available.
