While many were still able to participate and enjoy the Cedar Rapids Freedom Festival Medallion Hunt and Drive-Thru Pancake Breakfast, we can agree that it just wasn’t the same 4th of July celebration in Eastern Iowa. With this additional time to reflect what the Festival looks like moving forward, community input is needed!
Gearing up for its 38th year in 2021, The Cedar Rapids Freedom Festival launches a Community Survey—available at www.freedomfestival.com. The survey will take less than 10 minutes, asking questions about current Festival events and things you might like to see incorporated during future festivals.
“Every organization has used this time to pivot and reinvent who they are and what their future looks like, and we are no different” reflects Executive Director, Carissa Johnson. “Our community’s voice and opinion’s matter to us and this survey will help mold what the Freedom Festival will look like next year and for years to come.”
The survey will be open via the Freedom Festival website through Tuesday, September 1st, 2020. For more information and to receive the most up to date information about this 501(c)3 non-profit organization – please follow the Freedom Festival on Facebook and at www.FreedomFestival.com.
