Spring Seed Swap – Community Event @ Cedar Rapids Public Library

Gear up for gardening season with some new seeds!

Bring your seeds from last year in mini sealed and labelled envelopes (some will be on hand if you don’t have them). Seeds will be provided so even if you don’t have any to swap, join us and take some home.

Tips on seed starting, propagation and maintenance will be provided and small pots will be available to start seeds while supplies last.

The More We Get Together @ Ladd Library

Interactive stories, songs, crafts, and games to bring children, caregivers, and older adults together and form inter-generational relationships.

Connect with adults from The Gardens of Cedar Rapids and other mature adults while we craft, play, sing, listen and more! Have time to engage with families in your community too.  Activities are loosely centered on a theme for exploration and discovery and are appropriate for babies to preschoolers. All seniors are encouraged to attend, participate, and interact with children and families as they feel comfortable.
