Calling all nature explorers! Join us once a month as we explore nature through hands-on-projects and stories. Some activities will involve going outside, weather permitting.

Be sure to wear clothing that is appropriate for the weather we will be having as well as clothing that you can get messy in.

January: Animal Tracks

February: V-Day Activities: heart scavenger hunt and/or snowball fight, homemade pet toys for CVHS

March: Plants & Birds, grow a seed and/or make a bird feeder to take home

Just for kids! Make a planter box and fill it with fresh herbs to use again and again.

Make a planter box and fill it with fresh herbs to use again and again. Library staff will show you how. This program is ideal for people who like gardening and cooking with fresh ingredients. All materials are included. This program will be held in Beems B. Please arrive a few minutes before the program starts to find your place and ask any questions. Space will be limited. Register is required.

Amazing YouTube inspired hacks to promote the conservation of everyday items. The morning program is for budding environmentalists and most approriate for elementary aged through high school students.

Take common household objects and learn how to breathe new life into them.
