  CulturalCorridor.org Privacy Policy
Welcome to culturalcorridor.org and thank you for reading our Privacy Policy.

While we automatically collect information about your computer and internet request, we do not collect any personal information about you when you visit our site unless you choose to provide the information. Your personal information will not be sold, rented, loaned or shared with outside person or organization.

Members of our founding bodies, the Cedar Rapids Area Cultural Alliance (CRACA) or the Johnson County Cultural Alliance (JCCA) may petition culturalcorridor.org to contact site users who have previously requested information about their particular organization or events of the type they stage.

The culturalcorridor.org governing board will only release the information if its potential use is in keeping with culturalcorridor.org's overall mission of increasing awareness and support for the arts in our members' communities.

This policy applies only to the culturalcorridor.org web site. Other web sites that are linked to culturalcorridor.org have different and separate privacy policies.

Protecting the privacy of our Web site visitors is very important to culturalcorridor.org. Because we gather certain types of information about our users, we want to make sure you are informed of the ways in which we may and may not use the information you transmit to us when you visit culturalcorridor.org.

    The areas of the site in which we collect such information, the information collected and the purpose for collecting that information are described below:

    Subscription to electronic newsletters
    Culturalcorridor.org offers free electronic newsletters to users. These newsletters include highlights of the arts, cultural, humanities and historical richness of Eastern Iowa and other information of interest to Culturalcorridor.org users and supporters. To subscribe, you must provide your e-mail address. To remove yourself from the mailing list, follow the instructions at the bottom of any newsletter.

    Online Surveys
    Culturalcorridor.org occasionally conducts surveys with the option of participating through culturalcorridor.org. Apart from preference information you provide, survey responses are not correlated to any personally identifying information and are used in aggregate form to help us tailor Culturalcorridor.org's online services.

    Online feedback
    To send us e-mail through the feedback culturalcorridor.org page, you must enter a name and e-mail address, and of course, your comments. In addition, you have the option of entering a city and state. This information is used to respond to your comments. It is also used in aggregate form for statistical purposes.

    Online purchases and security
    On line purchases are not available at this time. However, when culturalcorridor.org offers items for online purchase, you would need to provide your name, mailing address, home telephone number, e-mail address and credit card payment information. This information would be required to process and ship orders only and would not be disclosed to any third party. Culturalcorridor.org will take seriously the need for credit card account information security. Our Web financial transaction forms will be stored and served from a secure server. When culturalcorridor.org begins purchase opportunities this segment of the Privacy Policy will be updated.

    Use of Cookies
