|Message to ICCA Community, 2016 Flooding|
A Message to our ICCA Community,
The Iowa Cultural Corridor Alliance is committed to providing support to our arts and culture community as the region prepares for forecasted flooding.
Our ICCA members go beyond the creation of their own fantastic arts and cultural experiences-they support fellow members in times both of celebration and of need. ICCA is committed in the belief that stronger together, we can protect our cultural gems.
Effective immediately, ICCA will enable access to our events calendar for those arts and culture organizations that would like to post information on where volunteers can meet to assist in sandbagging, packing up/relocating and other protective measures. Please post directly to the ICCA website events calendar using the username "FloodRelief" and the password "flood". This will collect all relief-related events onto a single page: http://culturalcorridor.org/organization_details.asp?I=327
. Please use the PDF attached to this article to learn how to use ICCA's event calendar or email Nathan at email@example.com for assistance.
For those in need of equipment and other resources, please contact coordinator Nathan Shepard at Nathan.firstname.lastname@example.org
through Sunday September 25. Nathan will gather requests, then communicate via eblast to fellow ICCA members as well as our community/media contacts.
If you are in need of volunteers or interested in helping with volunteer efforts, please visit the United Way website and select 211 information at www.uweci.org
In support and unity we can truly take on any possible challenge. Thank you for being a part of the Iowa Cultural Corridor Alliance.
