ICCA Award Nominations Extended
Posted: 9/27/2016

It's almost that time of year again! ICCA is organizing its annual meeting, the Celebration of the Arts, for November 15, 2016, at the new Hancher Auditorium! Like last year, we will be presenting the Collaborative Award and the Reaching Out Award to Partners and organizations who have made an impact on the arts and culture community of the Corridor over the past year. Please look back on your organization's events and nominate the one you are most proud of! All nominations will be mentioned at the luncheon meeting.

The Larry Eckholt Award, sponsored by the Iowa City/Coralville Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, will honor one individual from the South end of the Corridor. The Peggy Whitworth Award, sponsored by GO Cedar Rapidswill honor one individual from North end of the Corridor. These cultural advocates have demonstrated a personal commitment to the community. Nominations are presented to the ICCA Board of Directors who will vote on the two winners. See below for past winners!

Please find nomination forms below and email your nominations to Nathan Shepard at info@culturalcorridor.org before 5:00 PM on Friday,  September 16, 2016. Voting instructions for the Collaborative and Reaching Out Awards will be sent to you after the nomination period has ended. Please email me with any questions you may have!

Edit: Due to flooding concerns we have extended the deadline to nominate until 5PM Monday, October 3.

A big thank you to our Celebration Sponsors: MidAmerican EnergyHills Bank and Trust Company, and Veridian Credit Union. And our Arts Sponsor, the University of Iowa Community Credit Union. Sponsorships are available to organizations and businesses who are interested in helping us celebrate the Corridor's arts and culture community. I would be happy to send you more information if interested.
