|ICCA Presents The Kennedy Center’s John Abodeely on April 30|
The Iowa Cultural Corridor Alliance (ICCA) invites you to attend “Building Future Audiences”, sponsored by the Iowa City/Coralville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, on Tuesday, April 30, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. in Theatre B at the UI Theatre Building, 200 N. Riverside Drive, Iowa City.
The event will feature guest speaker John Abodeely, Program Manager of National Partnerships at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Mr. Abodeely will discuss the latest research in arts education, including information on best practices and successful model programs around the country. This event is open to the community.
Immediately following the program, attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy hors d'oeuvres and networking . The event is free for ICCA partners and $15 for non-ICCA partners. Anyone interested in attending should RSVP by April 26 to Jessica@culturalcorridor.org or 319.849.8278.
The Iowa Cultural Corridor Alliance is delighted to provide professional development opportunities hosted throughout the Corridor. Each event includes a learning session lasting approximately one hour followed by a social hour with complimentary appetizers and beverages. Attendees are welcome to come and go during the events as their schedule permits.
The Iowa Cultural Corridor Alliance (www.culturalcorridor.org) is a network of 150+ cultural organizations in the Eastern Iowa Corridor. The mission of ICCA is to promote the varied cultural activities of its partner organizations and to nurture a sustainable cultural community.
