Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs
The department has primary responsibility for development of the state's interest in the areas of the arts, history, and other cultural matters. In fulfilling this responsibility, the department will be advised and assisted by the state historical society and its board of trustees, and the Iowa arts council.

Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation

Since its founding in 1979, INHF has protected more than 70,000 acres, including prairies, wetlands, woodlands, greenways, trails and river corridors. These projects conserve and enhance Iowa's environment, water quality, wildlife, biodiversity, outdoor recreation, tourism and quality of life.

Humanities Iowa
Humanities Iowa is the only non-profit organization in Iowa committed to bringing the humanities to life and to the public through interactive programming, publications, and events. We provide grants to aid other non-profit organizations in furthering the humanities in Iowa as well as conduct our own programs in support of the humanities across Iowa.
