With the recent discourse around the possible elimination of the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Institute for Museum and Library Services, now is the perfect time for all arts and culture organizations to make a case as to their impact on their communities, the states they operate in, and the nation as a whole. In FY2010, the Corridor's non-profit arts and culture industry generated:
  • $79.8 million in annual economic activity
  • 2,761 full-time equivalent jobs
  • $7.4 million in local and state government revenue
