Mother Goose on the Loose @ Ladd Library

“Mother Goose on the Loose” is a 20-minute nursery rhyme program for newborns to three-year-olds, followed by a 30-minute playtime. This program helps strengthen babies’ and toddlers’ foundation for literacy with rhymes, rhythm, repetition, story and movement.

The world is ending, but you know what to do! Immerse yourself in our post apocalyptic world and learn how to survive. This week long camp focuses on problem solving, teamwork, and STEAM activities.

The world is ending, but you know what to do! Immerse yourself in our post apocalyptic world and learn how to survive. With your team, you will learn different life skills and sciences to keep you alive. For this week of camp, you will live in the broken world using only the skills you’ve gained to survive. From sewing to creating traps, you never know what you’ll need.

This week-long camp focuses on problem solving, teamwork, and STEAM activities. It will include substantial group work. Please make sure you can attend all days of the camp prior to registering. Registration only guarantees your spot until the start of the program. Please arrive 15 minutes early on the first day to check-in.

The More We Get Together @ Ladd Library

Activities to bring school-aged children and older adults together and form intergenerational relationships.

Adults from The Gardens of Cedar Rapids will be on hand to make alongside and assist children with a variety of crafts and treats in this summer series of programs. Grandparents and older adults are encouraged to accompany children to this event as well.
