The History Center – A Very Vintage Holiday @ The History Center

Join The History Center for a very special holiday event, including a screening of the 1910 silent film A Christmas Carol! Enjoy traditional holiday music performed by Nancy Patrick, children from Coolidge Elementary School choir, and Prairie High School’s Cantabile select chorus. Families can make a holiday ornament to take home and have their family
picture taken.

Photographer George Henry and historian Mark Stoffer Hunter will be available for book signings. Enjoy hot cocoa and mulled wine during the event.

Admission for this event is $5 at the door.  Beer, wine, soda, and water will be available for purchase during the event.

You won’t want to miss the newest…and final… edition of the Wapsipinicon Almanac. The almanac’s creator, Tim Fay, will talk about the history of his letter-press printed magazine. This treasure of a publication is a carefully curated collection of short stories, book reviews, news, local history, poetry and inspiring artwork.
