Martin Luther King Jr. Day Observance @ Coralville Public Library
Jan 21 @ 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm

The Coralville Public Library will hold its third annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Observance by presenting a reading of Dr. King’s iconic “I Have a Dream Speech” at 5:00 pm in the Library Rotunda. Local government officials, leaders from human rights organizations, religious leaders, and other allies will read Dr. King’s words, which remind us both to celebrate what we have accomplished and recognize what we have left to do. Throughout the day, library patrons will also have a chance to write or draw their dreams for a more just world, which will be on display throughout the week.
