  About - FAQ
Below you will find answers to frequently asked questions regarding ICCA and the Cultural Corridor website. If you have a question that is not answered here, please contact us.

Can I list my upcoming arts and cultural events on the Cultural Corridor website?
Yes! In order to list events on the site, you must be a partner of the Iowa Cultural Corridor Alliance. You can learn more about becoming a partner here. If you are not interested in becoming a partner of the Alliance, you may post arts and cultural events on the Cultural Corridor website for a fee of $25 per event for nonprofit organizations and $50 per event for for-profit organizations.

Iíd like to list my event using the one-time posting option listed above. Who do I contact and what information do I provide?
The following information is needed for a one time posting: name of event, organization hosting event, date/time/location of event, cost and how to get tickets, contact person (including email and phone), and any additional information about the event. A photo is optional but must be under 50K in size. All of this information can be e-mailed to ICCA. Please note that a press release is not sufficient to create a posting Ė information must be provided answering the questions listed above. An invoice will be provided to your organization for payment.

Why does it cost money to list events on the Cultural Corridor website?
The Cultural Corridor website was designed as a service to Corridor communities. To continue to provide this service for free, we must charge a small fee to post events on the Cultural Corridor site. Our partners do not have to pay this fee, as they pay yearly dues to our organization for access to post to the site as well as other benefits.

Why isn't the event I am looking for listed on your website?
If you don't see a particular individual or organizationís events, it is because they are not an ICCA partner. If the individual or organization that you are searching for is an ICCA partner (they are listed on the Organizations Tab of the website), the organization has yet to post the event. Each ICCA partner is responsible for updating their events on the ICCA calendar. Feel free to visit that organizationís website via the link on the Organizations Tab to learn more about these events.

Can individuals and for-profit businesses become ICCA partners?
For-profit companies, individuals, and other organizations wishing to list events on are welcome to apply to be ICCA Friends and Business Partners.

I see that you have website advertisements on your site. What are your rates for advertising space?
You can download information about our site traffic, as well as our advertising rates here. One of the benefits of being an ICCA partner is that partners receive deep discounts when they advertise with us. You can learn more about becoming a partner here.

Can I list events happening outside of the Corridor?
The Iowa Cultural Corridor Alliance defines the Corridor as Linn, Johnson, and the nine adjacent counties. Events listed on the Cultural Corridor website must take place within this area to be added.
